E-Commerce Tips

One of the fastest growing fields of commerce is business conducted over the internet, known as electronic commerce, or e-commerce. The SBA and other federal agencies have gathered helpful hints for businesses considering entering the e-commerce field.

SCORE

SCORE is a national volunteer organization, run under the auspices of the Small Business Administration. It provides confidential business counseling and low-cost entrepreneurial training workshops and seminars to small business persons, both visionary start-ups and existing firms. In addition, there are "virtual" counselors, providing Internet counseling directly from their homes or offices.

SBA Online Courses

A web resource that provides a wide variety of information on programs and services that help people start businesses. A place of interest on this site is the list of free online courses that can be used by individuals or instructors. The courses are all self-paced and take about 30 minutes to complete.
